Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°F (80°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix ground beef and water in a bowl until well combined.
- Form small, flat pieces on the baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters for fun shapes if desired.
- Bake for 4 hours, checking occasionally until jerky is dry and chewy.
- Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
Fatty meats may take longer to dry; use extra-lean ground beef for best results.
Store jerky at room temperature for a week, refrigerate for up to two weeks, or freeze for three months.
