Description

These 30 Minute Dinner Rolls are quick, fluffy, and irresistibly delicious. Made with simple ingredients, they are perfect for family dinners, gatherings, or a cozy meal at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking pan.
  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until foamy.
  • Add vegetable oil, salt, and egg; mix well.
  • Gradually add flour, combining until a smooth dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into 15 balls and place them in the prepared pan.
  • Cover with a towel and let rise while the oven preheats.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven.

Notes

For best rise, use warm ingredients, especially water and egg.
Avoid over-kneading the dough for fluffier rolls.
You can prepare the dough ahead of time and store in the fridge.
