- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking pan.
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until foamy.
- Add vegetable oil, salt, and egg; mix well.
- Gradually add flour, combining until a smooth dough forms.
- Shape the dough into 15 balls and place them in the prepared pan.
- Cover with a towel and let rise while the oven preheats.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven.
Notes
For best rise, use warm ingredients, especially water and egg.
Avoid over-kneading the dough for fluffier rolls.
You can prepare the dough ahead of time and store in the fridge.
