Description

These 5 Minute Baked Tacos offer a quick meal bursting with flavor from seasoned beef, melting cheese, and a hint of cilantro—ideal for gatherings or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 hard stand & stuff taco shells
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • ¾ cup diced yellow onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 ounce packet taco seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar-jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and arrange taco shells on a baking tray.
  • In a skillet, sauté olive oil and diced onions until translucent, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Season with salt, pepper, taco seasoning, and mix in tomato sauce; simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Fill taco shells generously with beef mixture, top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 7 minutes until cheese is melty and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Avoid overfilling the taco shells to prevent messiness.
For a flavor boost, consider adding diced jalapeños or black beans.
Let tacos sit briefly before baking for improved texture.
