Description

Ingredients

  • Bourbon or Spiced Rum (2 ounces)
  • Apple Cider (3 ounces)
  • Ginger Beer (3 ounces)
  • Fresh Orange Juice or Lemon Juice (½ ounce)
  • Garnishes (apple slices, cinnamon stick, and/or orange rind)


Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients and a jigger or measuring cup.
  • In a shaker, combine bourbon or spiced rum, apple cider, and fresh citrus juice. Shake with ice for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with ginger beer, pouring gently to maintain fizz.
  • Garnish with apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and orange rind.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute bourbon with sparkling apple cider or extra ginger beer.
Fresh-pressed apple cider gives the best flavor, but store-bought is a suitable alternative.
Adjust the sweetness with less cider or a drier ginger beer.
