Description

These brownies are a chocolate lover’s dream with rich flavors, easy preparation, and delightful chocolate chips. Perfect for parties or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box duncan hines chewy fudge brownies (in the family size box for the 13×9 pan size)
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • conversation hearts

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 13×9 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine the dry mix with water, eggs, and avocado oil. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Place candy conversation hearts across the batter, leaving space between them. They will sink slightly as they bake.
  • Bake according to the box instructions, typically 25–35 minutes, until a toothpick in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For richer flavor, you can add more chocolate chips or substitute the water with coffee.
Allow the brownies to cool completely for best texture when cutting.
Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
