Description

This Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread combines delicious garlic butter, creamy Alfredo sauce, and shredded chicken on toasted bread, making it an irresistible comfort food perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 tbsp butter, divided
  • 9 cloves garlic, minced, divided
  • 15 oz Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced horizontally
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the French bread horizontally and brush with a mixture of 5 tbsp melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
  • Toast the bread for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a saucepan, warm Alfredo sauce and mix in remaining butter, Parmesan, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread half of the Alfredo sauce on the toasted bread, layer with chicken, and then top with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy option.
Feel free to substitute with gluten-free bread or dairy-free cheese for dietary preferences.
To avoid soggy bread, ensure it’s well-toasted before adding the toppings.
