- 4 chicken breasts, cooked and diced, or shredded
- 1 (10-12-ounce) package frozen broccoli
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the broccoli as directed and place it at the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
- Layer the cooked chicken over the broccoli.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and cheddar cheese until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Combine melted butter and bread crumbs in a Ziploc bag and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture over the creamy layer.
- Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until it is heated through.
Notes
Feel free to use fresh broccoli instead of frozen for a fresher taste.
This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.
