Description

Whip up a batch of Classic Cranberry Sauce—it’s quick, easy, and full of flavor! The tart cranberries combined with sugar create a perfect balance, making it a must-have for meals or as a tasty spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 12 ounces (4 cups) fresh cranberries

Instructions

  • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat and dissolve sugar to form a syrup.
  • Add fresh cranberries and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for 12-15 minutes until cranberries burst.
  • Remove from heat, cool to thicken, and serve warm or refrigerate for later use.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the cranberries; they should burst but not turn to mush.
Feel free to adjust sugar to taste for desired sweetness.
Can add spices like cinnamon or vanilla for unique flavors.
