Description

This Cranberry Martini features a delightful blend of vodka, cranberry juice, and homemade thyme syrup, offering a refreshing taste that’s perfect for celebrations or an evening at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1½ ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • ¼-½ ounce thyme syrup
  • ½ ounce triple sec
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 3 whole fresh cranberries for garnish
  • 5 sprigs thyme for garnish


Instructions

  • Combine thyme, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Do not allow it to boil.
  • Remove from heat and let it rest for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Strain and discard the thyme. Alternatively, leave the thyme in for a stronger flavor.
  • Allow the mixture to cool completely, then store in a mason jar for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with the amount of thyme syrup for your desired sweetness.
Garnish with fresh cranberries and thyme for an elegant touch.
