Description

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is a delightful treat that pairs smooth cream cheese with sweet marshmallow creme and a hint of lime. Its easy preparation and irresistible taste make it a favorite for gatherings, perfect with a variety of fruit or as a tasty dessert option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese full-fat; brick-style
  • 1 (7-ounce) container marshmallow creme
  • 1 lime
  • 1/8 teaspoon coconut extract optional

Instructions

  1. Remove the cream cheese from its packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 15 seconds. Flip the cream cheese and microwave for another 10 to 15 seconds until softened but not melted.
  2. In a large bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth and lump-free, about 1 minute. Use a spoon (run under hot water and dried) to scoop the marshmallow creme and add it to the bowl along with 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice and coconut extract if using. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until fully chilled. Serve with your favorite fruit or dippers, ensuring the fruit is completely dry before serving to prevent the dip from sliding off.

Notes

For a tropical twist, adjust the amount of coconut extract to taste.
Ensure the cream cheese is softened adequately for a smooth dip.
Chill the dip for at least one hour for best flavor and texture.
