Description

These Crock Pot Hawaiian Meatballs combine rich flavors and simple prep, featuring tender meatballs, juicy pineapple, and a tangy BBQ sauce, making them a go-to for quick dinners or delightful appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds frozen meatballs
  • 1 20 ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 cups bbq sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives for garnish


Instructions

  • Place frozen meatballs and drained pineapple chunks into the crock pot.
  • In another bowl, mix BBQ sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and brown sugar using a whisk.
  • Grate ginger and garlic, then add them to the sauce mixture and whisk to combine.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and pineapple, gently tossing to coat them evenly.
  • Cover the crock pot with the lid and set it to cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
  • Once cooked, garnish meatballs with chopped chives before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, use homemade BBQ sauce if preferred.
