These Curried Sausage Rolls are a delightful blend of spices wrapped in flaky pastry. Simple to make and perfect for parties or as a cozy snack, they’re sure to impress your guests!

- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound pork mince
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce or passata
- 3 tablespoons fine dry breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cilantro
- 11 ounces (320 grams) puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg yolk, for glazing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
- Combine the onion mixture with pork mince, egg, tomato sauce, breadcrumbs, and spices in a bowl. Mix well.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
- Place filling down the center, fold and seal edges.
- Brush with egg yolk and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
These rolls can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freeze the rolls for up to 3 months, reheating directly from frozen.
Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best mixing.
