Description

This Dark Chocolate Almond Bark brings together rich dark chocolate and crunchy almonds for a delightful treat. Quick to prepare, this bark is perfect for satisfying sweet cravings while being simple and delicious. Enjoy it as a snack or dessert that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups roasted sliced almonds unsalted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 10 oz dark chocolate


Instructions

  1. Combine the maple syrup and coconut oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until well mixed and bubbly.
  3. Allow it to boil for 3 minutes until reduced by one-third, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of flaky salt and the sliced almonds, stirring to combine.
  5. Spread the coated almonds on a prepared baking sheet and let them dry completely.
  6. Prepare another parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water until nearly melted.
  8. Remove from heat and stir until smooth and fully melted.
  9. Fold 2/3 of the candied almonds into the melted chocolate mixture, then spread it onto the parchment paper.
  10. Scatter the remaining candied almonds over the top and sprinkle with the remaining salt.
  11. Allow the chocolate bark to harden in the fridge or freezer before breaking it into pieces.
