Description

These deviled eggs are perfect for any gathering, boasting an irresistible flavor and simple preparation. With creamy filling and a touch of paprika, they make a delightful addition to any meal or party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (60 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish (18 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • Paprika optional

Instructions

  1. Fill a saucepan with 1 inch of water, place a steamer basket on top, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, carefully add the eggs, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to a large bowl filled with ice water to cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs, slice them in half lengthwise, and remove the yolks into a small bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, relish, mustard, and salt until well combined. Fill the egg whites with this mixture.
  5. Sprinkle paprika on top and serve or refrigerate until ready.

Notes

For easier peeling, use eggs that are a few days old.
If you like a bit of heat, consider adding a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
These can be made a day in advance, just keep them covered in the fridge.
