Description

These Easter Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful treat combining buttery marshmallows, crispy Rice Krispies, and mini eggs for added fun. Perfect for celebrations and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
  • 15 ounces (426g) mini white marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 9 cups rice kripsies (approximately 400g)
  • 2 bags (18 ounces or 510g) mini eggs crushed and whole

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and marshmallows together while stirring until smooth. Be cautious not to burn the mixture. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
  3. Fold in the Rice Krispies and mini eggs with a wooden spoon until everything is well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Use a greased spatula to gently press it down.
  5. Allow it to sit for 1 hour at room temperature to set. After it's set, remove it from the pan and cut into squares.
  6. For best results, serve fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Notes

Using fresh ingredients will improve flavor and texture.
You can substitute with chocolate eggs for variation.
