- Avocado Oil
- Yellow Onion
- Garlic
- Ground Beef (90/10)
- Italian Seasoning
- Canned Diced Tomatoes/Marinara Sauce
- Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- Tomato Paste
- Pure Maple Syrup or Sugar
- Lasagna Noodles
- Sea Salt & Black Pepper
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Ricotta Cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Basil
Instructions
- Heat the avocado oil in a large pot and sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic.
- Brown the ground beef in the pot until fully cooked.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Add canned tomatoes, chicken broth, and tomato paste, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
- Break lasagna noodles into pieces and stir into the simmering broth. Cook until tender about 10-12 minutes.
- Add optional sweetener, then fold in mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Finish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
