- 2 (8 oz) cream cheese, slightly firm
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 piece string cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine slightly firm cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Beat the mixture until smooth and well incorporated.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for one hour.
- Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter, and place the cheese mixture in the center. Gather the sides to form it into a ball shape.
- In a separate bowl, place the chopped pecans and roll the cheese ball in them until fully coated.
- Transfer the cheese ball to a serving plate and shape it like a football.
- Cut the string cheese into pieces and arrange them over the top of the cheese ball to create laces.
- Serve it with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.
Notes
