Description

Grinder Salad is a delightful mix of fresh ingredients tossed in a creamy dressing, offering a burst of flavor in every bite. Ideal for a quick, healthy meal, it features crunchy lettuce, savory meats, and zesty dressing, making it a standout choice for busy nights or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/8 cup parmesan cheese freshly grates
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion sliced
  • 1 cup tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese diced
  • 1/2 cup salami chopped
  • 1/2 cup deli turkey meat chopped


Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, dried oregano, salt, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Add red onion, pepperoncini, diced tomatoes, provolone cheese, salami, and deli turkey to the bowl. Place the chopped iceberg lettuce on top.
  • Using tongs or two serving forks, toss everything together until well combined. For convenience, you can also put a lid on the bowl and shake it gently.
  • Serve the salad immediately after tossing.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the ingredients to include your favorite vegetables or meats.
For added flavor, chill the dressing for 30 minutes before mixing with salad.
