- 2 refrigerated pre-made crusts
- 1 cup strawberry preserves
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 365°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pie crust and cut out heart shapes. Use a rolling pin to re-roll any scrap dough to create more hearts.
- Place about 1 heaping tablespoon of strawberry preserves in the center of every other heart, saving about 1 tablespoon for later icing.
- Cover each filled heart with another heart and crimp the edges with a fork to seal them tightly.
- Cut 2 small slits in the top of each pie for ventilation.
- Transfer the pies to the baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until they're golden brown and can be lifted off the parchment easily.
- Let the pies cool on a wire rack.
- In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar, reserved strawberry preserves, and heavy cream until smooth. Spoon or spread this icing on the cooled hand pies and garnish with sprinkles.
- Serve and enjoy!
