Description

Sweet and savory Honey Garlic Steak Bites are a hit at any gathering. Quick to prepare and packed with flavor, they’re perfect for a comforting meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs. sirloin
  • 2-3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp. red chili flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • ¼ cup salted butter, cut into small cubes


Instructions

  • Preheat a large skillet and add cooking oil.
  • Season sirloin with salt and pepper, then sear in batches until golden brown.
  • Transfer seared steak bites to a slow cooker.
  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, red chili flakes, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Pour sauce over steak in slow cooker and top with butter cubes.
  • Cook on low for 5 hours, stir before serving.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan when searing the steak.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
