Ingredients

- 3 lbs. sirloin
- 2-3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ cup salted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet and add cooking oil.
- Season sirloin with salt and pepper, then sear in batches until golden brown.
- Transfer seared steak bites to a slow cooker.
- Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, red chili flakes, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Pour sauce over steak in slow cooker and top with butter cubes.
- Cook on low for 5 hours, stir before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan when searing the steak.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
