- ½ cup unsalted butter – melted
- 2 ¼ cups graham cracker crumbs – ¼ cup reserved
- 2 cups fresh strawberries – hulled
- 8 ounces cream cheese – softened
- ½ cup unsalted butter – softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 8 ounces Cool Whip

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press 2 cups into a 9×9-inch pan.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes and let cool completely.
- Pulse hulled strawberries in a food processor until they are chunky.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and softened butter until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until creamy.
- Stir 2 tablespoons of the pulsed strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the filling evenly over the cooled crust.
- Fold the remaining strawberries into the Cool Whip and spread the mixture on top.
- Sprinkle the reserved graham cracker crumbs and arrange sliced strawberries on top.
- Cover the dessert and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure to cool the crust completely before adding the filling for the best texture.
For a more intense strawberry flavor, use more fresh strawberries in the filling.
Can be made a day ahead to allow the layers to set perfectly.
