Description

This Peppermint Bark Fudge features rich chocolate layers and refreshing peppermint. It’s quick to make, perfect for holiday gatherings, and a delightful homemade gift!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (second batch)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (second batch)
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract (second batch)
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candy or candy canes


Instructions

  • Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Melt semisweet chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter over low heat until smooth.
  • Mix in peppermint extract, then spread the mixture in the prepared dish.
  • In another saucepan, melt white chocolate chips, second condensed milk, and butter over low heat until smooth.
  • Add peppermint extract to the white chocolate mixture and spread over the semisweet layer.
  • Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy on top, pressing down lightly.
  • Chill in the fridge for about 2 hours until set.

Notes

Use quality chocolate for the best flavor.
Store in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
This fudge can be made dairy-free with suitable substitutes.
