Description

Experience the festive delight of Peppermint Oreo Bark. This easy homemade candy combines rich chocolate, crunchy Oreos, and a touch of peppermint for a treat that’s perfect for sharing or enjoying yourself.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 teaspoons coconut oil, divided
  • 25 Oreo Cookies, divided
  • 24 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peppermint chips


Instructions

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with 2 teaspoons of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  • Crush 10 Oreo cookies and mix them into the melted chocolate. Pour onto the baking sheet and let set for 10-15 minutes.
  • Melt white chocolate chips with remaining coconut oil, stirring until smooth.
  • Crush another 10 Oreo cookies and fold into the white chocolate. Pour over the dark chocolate layer.
  • Sprinkle crushed Oreos and peppermint chips on top. Allow to set at room temperature until firm.

Notes

Ensure chocolate chips are not overheated to avoid seizing.
For a unique twist, try using flavored Oreos or different toppings like nuts.
Can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
