Description

Pepperoni Pizza Sliders bring together beloved flavors in a delightful, easy-to-make slider. Perfect for quick dinners and gatherings, these sliders feature soft buns, savory pepperoni, and gooey mozzarella cheese for a satisfying bite everyone will enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (soft dinner rolls)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices of pepperoni
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning or oregano
  • fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice all the slider buns horizontally, keeping them attached to simplify assembly.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom half of the buns.
  • Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  • Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with the top half of the buns.
  • Brush the melted butter over the top of the buns and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped basil leaves if desired before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
You can use store-bought pizza sauce or homemade for a personal touch.
