Description

This Pimento Cheese is a must-try for cheese lovers! With simple ingredients and a delicious blend of flavors, it’s perfect as a dip or spread for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (duke’s brand is my favorite)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon celery salt
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pimentos
  • 1 tablespoon pimento juice/brine

Instructions

  1. Shred the sharp cheddar cheese and set it aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly, using a hand mixer if needed.
  3. Season the mixture with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and celery salt. Stir well to incorporate all the flavors.
  4. Add the chopped pimentos and pimento juice/brine to the mixture, stirring to combine. If the mixture appears too wet, refrigerate it to firm up before serving.
  5. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
  6. Serve right away or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider using low-fat cream cheese.
Pimento Cheese can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Serve with veggies or crackers for a delightful snack.
