Description

This Roasted Broccoli combines fresh florets, garlic, and parmesan for a delightful side dish. Simple to prepare, it’s perfect for quick dinners or healthy meals that please everyone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt (with parsley flakes)
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 broccoli heads cut into medium florets
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or grease it lightly.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic, then microwave for 30 seconds. Strain the oil to remove garlic pieces.
  4. Add lemon juice, garlic salt, and pepper to the oil and whisk well.
  5. Toss the broccoli florets in the oil mixture and spread them evenly onto the baking sheet. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, tossing the broccoli once midway, until tender and golden. Serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the level of garlic based on your taste preference.
For an extra zing, add red pepper flakes before baking.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
