These Santa Hat Jello Shots combine the delightful flavors of strawberry and creamy butter, offering a fun and festive treat. Perfect for parties, they are easy to prepare and will surely impress your guests!

- 3 ounces strawberry flavored gelatin mix
- 2 (¼ ounce) unflavored gelatin packets
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 1/2 cups water, divided
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 cup vodka, divided
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- strawberries with the leaves cut off
- christmas sprinkles, optional
Instructions
- Set out your cups on a tray and ensure there's space in the fridge for the tray.
- In a large measuring cup or mixing bowl, combine 1 cup boiling water and the strawberry jello, whisking until dissolved.
- Add ½ cup cold water and ½ cup vodka to the jello mixture and whisk again.
- Pour the mixture into the cups, filling them halfway.
- Place the tray in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the layer is set.
- For the white jello, add unflavored gelatin and 1 cup of water to a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk and ½ cup vodka. Let it cool slightly.
- Spoon the white mixture over the set strawberry layer in the shot cups, filling them almost to the top.
- Refrigerate for another 30 minutes until fully set.
- To make the buttercream, use an electric mixer to whip the butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.
- Transfer the buttercream to a ziploc bag, snipping off the edge.
- Top each jello shot with a strawberry and pipe buttercream around the edges and on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the jello layers are fully set before adding the next layer to prevent mixing.
For added decoration, sprinkle some Christmas sprinkles on top of the buttercream if desired.
