Ingredients
- Plain Breadcrumbs
- Sea Salt
- Sugar
- Paprika
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
- Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
- Dried Basil or Oregano
- Vegetable Oil
- Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast or Pork Chops
- Water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a sheet pan.
- In a zip-top bag, combine breadcrumbs, sea salt, sugar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne, and basil or oregano. Shake to mix.
- Add vegetable oil to the bag and shake until breadcrumbs are coated.
- Moisten chicken in water and then place into the breadcrumb bag, shaking until coated.
- Arrange coated chicken on the sheet pan and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
