Description

Ingredients

  • Plain Breadcrumbs
  • Sea Salt
  • Sugar
  • Paprika
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
  • Dried Basil or Oregano
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast or Pork Chops
  • Water


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a sheet pan.
  • In a zip-top bag, combine breadcrumbs, sea salt, sugar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne, and basil or oregano. Shake to mix.
  • Add vegetable oil to the bag and shake until breadcrumbs are coated.
  • Moisten chicken in water and then place into the breadcrumb bag, shaking until coated.
  • Arrange coated chicken on the sheet pan and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your meal!

Notes

For gluten-free options, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Crispiness can be enhanced by letting the coated chicken rest before baking.
