Description

These Soy Garlic Chicken Wings are a perfect blend of sweetness and savoriness, baked to crispy perfection and ideal for any gathering or a quick delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and pat wings dry.
  • Mix baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Toss wings with dry mixture to coat evenly.
  • Arrange wings on a lined baking sheet with space between them.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Whisk in soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, cornstarch, and honey; cook until thickened.
  • Toss baked wings with sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh wings for better flavor; drumsticks can be substituted.
Make gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
