- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and pat wings dry.
- Mix baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss wings with dry mixture to coat evenly.
- Arrange wings on a lined baking sheet with space between them.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Whisk in soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, cornstarch, and honey; cook until thickened.
- Toss baked wings with sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh wings for better flavor; drumsticks can be substituted.
Make gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
