Description

This Spicy Firecracker Shrimp is packed with mouthwatering flavors from sweet chili and soy sauce. Made with jumbo shrimp, it’s perfect for a quick and delightful dinner that everyone will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili crunch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 pound jumbo raw shrimp peeled and deveined, tail on
  • salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • sesame seeds and chopped fresh chives for garnish


Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients until combined.
  • Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Toss shrimp with flour and cornstarch until well coated in a bag or bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Blot excess oil with a paper towel and transfer to the bowl with the sauce.
  • Toss shrimp in the sauce until well coated, then garnish with sesame seeds and chives. Serve hot.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are properly peeled and deveined for the best texture.
Adjust the chili crunch based on your spice preference for a milder or hotter dish.
