Description

This Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf is a delightful blend of savory ground beef and succulent stuffing mix, offering a hassle-free approach to a satisfying dinner. Perfectly seasoned and topped with a tasty glaze, it’s a must-try for anyone seeking an easy comfort food option!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds ground beef 85% or 90% lean
  • 6 ounce box stove top stuffing mix any flavor
  • 1 cup yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 teaspoons garlic minced
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, stuffing mix, onion, eggs, garlic, ⅓ cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, and black pepper. Mix until just combined and let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the remaining ketchup, barbecue sauce, and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and spread the sauce evenly over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160˚F. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to incorporate diced vegetables like bell peppers or carrots into the mixture.
Ensure you use lean beef to keep the meatloaf moist and flavorful. You can also substitute ground turkey if preferred.
