Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. Stir the mixture until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Add the chopped strawberries and continue to cook over low heat for about 30 minutes, until it reaches a low boil and thickens slightly, resembling loose jam.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Transfer the jam into 2 pint jars and seal them with lids.
  6. Store the jam in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes
