Description

Ingredients

  • 200 g ground chicken
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 shallot (thinly sliced)
  • 2 thin slices ginger (minced)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ⅓ cup grated carrot
  • 1 handful of green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 handful of coriander (finely chopped)
  • Lettuce (as needed to make your wraps)


Instructions

  • Cook the chicken by breaking it apart in a pot with water until no longer pink (5-7 minutes).
  • Add minced ginger, garlic, and sliced shallots to the cooked chicken; mix well.
  • Pour in fish sauce, lime juice, chili flakes, and sugar; toss together until coated.
  • Fold in grated carrots, chopped green onions, and coriander gently.
  • Assemble wraps by scooping chicken mixture into lettuce leaves.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container, keeping chicken and lettuce separate.
You can prepare the filling a day in advance for quick assembly on serving day.
Experiment with different herbs or greens for varied flavors.
