Ingredients
Scale
- 1 boneless fully cooked ham (about 3 pounds)
- ¼ cup water
- 8 ounces crushed pineapple drained
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
- Place the ham flat side down in the prepared pan. Pour ¼ cup of water into the bottom of the pan, then cover the ham and pan with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 ½ hours.
- In a small saucepan, mix together the pineapple, brown sugar, honey, mustard, salt, and cornstarch. Stir until combined.
- Cook over medium-high heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Then, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 additional minute while stirring.
- Remove the foil and pour the glaze over the ham. Re-cover the ham and bake for another 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, basting occasionally if desired.
- Once fully cooked, remove the ham from the pan and slice. Serve the glaze on the side in a gravy boat.
Notes
Make sure to baste the ham for extra flavor during the last cooking phase.
Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing for better slicing.
Leftover ham can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
